Recovering from bitterness
There is nothing wrong with feeling hurt or bitter, but how we allow that feeling to control us makes the differences. Bitterness must be eliminated as quickly as possible or it will keep getting worst. Bitterness controls from the inside out. Bitterness hurts the people around you. You must ask God today, to help you clean out your mental filing cabinets. So we can move beyond bitterness.
Let’s look at the story of Joseph. He endured so much pain, disappointment and sorrow, but he never became bitter. Joseph directed his attention and focus on God. He simply left everything in God’s hand, no matter how long it took. He never got bitter and guess what, things got better in God’s time.
So how can you recover from bitterness? Stop focusing on self and focus on the man who can make changes in your life. God’s timing is not our timing, but we must trust God’s word when he said, I will never leave you nor forsake you (Romans 8:31-39 and Hebrews 13:5-6). God loves you so trust him and things will get better.

Forgetting
One of the hardest things for Christians to do is FORGET. We just keep bringing the past up or looking back. Paul says, in Phillippians 3: 13- 16, life has been good and it has been bad, but I am committed to forgetting those things that are behind me. Looking back can be deadly, ask Lott’s wife. So learn to look up and ask God to direct your path.
God is waiting and ready to help us, but many of us will never move to the next level, because we do not trust that God knows what is best for us. We have a different plan in mind, we want be in a different place and time in life. Let me tell you, it is far better to be where you are with God, than to be anywhere else without God.
So I encourage you to trust God when you cannot trace him. God loves you and has an eternal reward for those who seek him. God is faithful and you can stand on his promises. Learn to focus on the high calling of Christ and not what the world has to offer. The world will let you down eventually. Trust God (Proverbs 3:5-6) and believe him for deliverance, answers and victory. God is Able…

Working it out for my GOOD, but I can’t see the GOOD
What a day this has been, here I am again, laying in the fetal position crying and feeling sorry for myself. I promised myself over and over, that I would not be in this position again. It has been five year own since I allowed a man to come into my life. Of course, it had a sweet beginning. It was not me, this time that purchased the wedding grown, so to speak, but it was he that ordered the Tuxedos. Wow, this was good, he may be the one. Things are working out Good, the way I have always dreamed. Well I will finish this story later in the book. Let me say that this experience forced me to pick up the pen and write. I am writing to encourage you to trust God even though you cannot see the GOOD.
One of God’s promises is that everything will work together for the good of those who love the Lord. The scripture says: And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose, Roman 8:28.
I trust and believe this the scripture hold heartily, but in many cases, I cannot see or understand the Good. What is good about being 52 years old, no children and never married? How are things working out for the Good? All I can see is loneness and sad times. I can see having no children to visit me when I am old. I can see attending events alone. I can see is being the only remaining student in the singles class for 25 years. I can see never truly being loved and cared for by a man. How is this good? I believe God is working, but is he working for my Good? What is he working on? Hmmm, he says, things will work out for my Good, but I still DO NOT see the Good.
WE MUST TRUST GOD
HE KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING
